Hemp Seeds Market
For 4 consecutive growing seasons our hemp seeds have been successfully cultivated in outdoor farms located in Wisconsin and Colorado. Since Colorado was one of the first states to legalize cannabis we got started there and quickly partnered up with farmers in Wisconsin who had the infrustucture to reach large scale expansion in place. Our seeds have been registered by the Colorado State Department of Agriculture and are compliant under USDA regulations. Each of our seeds have been legally certified for variety, dormancy, germination, and CBD potency. Over the past 4 years, all of our plants tested successfully at 0.23% THC, which is under the legal limit nationwide. When cultivated properly, our seeds will produce an average of 12% to 18% CBD, once fully matured.

Our hemp seeds are derived from the popular Cherry Wine strain due to it's high CBD production and naturally low ocuring THC Delta 9 production. By maintaining a 95% germination rate and staying weed-free at 99.9%, this particular breed is in very high demand. Another benefit of the Cherry Wine variety is that it’s well-known for producing quality levels of terpenes, flavonoids, and most notably, high volumes of CBD with only minimal traces of THC. We recommend that you start with clones initially and only plant females, as all of these seeds are non-feminized. An alternative option is to plant them all while removing the male plants during the growing season. If this variety were “feminized”, the costs would be as high as $40,000 per pound. The average ratio of female to male is 73:27. You can rest assured that our seed stock has no cross-pollination contamination issues.
Expected Yield Rates
As long as these seeds are planted properly, and the male plants are removed quickly, the yield should result in 2,000 to 2,500 pounds of high, CBD-based hemp flowers per acre. The average volume for plant production in this industry starts as low as 1,000 – 1,300 pounds per acre. We are on the high-end of the scale for production volume (up to 2,500 pounds), which proves quite lucrative for growers. The hardest part was already completed when the seeds were cultivated. In a market that is still wide open, farmers only need to purchase their hemp seed supply to start the process and later reap the returns.
Current Market Rates
Since February of 2020, the high-CBD hemp flower has been selling for $2.25/pound, per percentage of CBD. Here is how the math works: If an acre yields 2500 lbs., multiply that value by $2 per pound. Take that total and multiply by a 14% maximum CBD, resulting in a market rate of $78,750 in revenue per acre. Sales Example: (2500 x $2.25 per lb.) x 14/CBD% = $78,750 per acre of dried hemp flower. By taking your hemp flower biomass to a processor, this will yield higher revenues as THC-Free, CBD distillate is presently selling at a fair market price of $3,500/liter. Sales Example for T-Free Distillate: (1 acrea = 2500 lbs of biomass @ 14% CBD. 2500 X 14% = 350/liters of crude oil, when further refined this will equate to 350 X 75% = 262.50 in T-Free Distillate X Market Price of $3,500/Liter = $918,750.00 / 2 for the lab toll fees = $459,375
